Product Introduction:
Sesamin and sesamolin are the main important active ingredients in sesame seeds extract. Sesamin is the most prominent lignan in sesame seeds. It is catered to be a nutritional supplement that have a super antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects.
Besides sesamin, the sesame seeds also have other lignans, including sesamolin, sesaminol and sesamol etc. Compared to a conventional cultivar, these lignan-rich sesame seeds increased the hepatic fatty acid oxidation rate and lowered the serum triacylglycerol level. Therefore, it is considered that enrichment of the lignans potentiates the characteristics of sesame in improving human health.

What’s the main function of sesame seeds extract?
1.Powerful antioxidant ability
Sesame seeds extract can remove excessive peroxides, hydroxyl radicals, and organic radicals from the body. Research has found that sesamin can increase the activity of free radical scavenging enzymes, inhibit oxidative stress reactions, reduce the generation of oxygen free radicals, and protect target organs. In vitro antioxidant experiments have shown that sesamin exhibits good antioxidant activity against DPPH radicals, hydroxyl radicals, superoxide anion radicals, and ABTS radicals, which is similar to the antioxidant performance of the common antioxidant VC. Protecting people from skin cancer.
2. Anti inflammatory effect
Research has found that sesamin can inhibit the differentiation and bone resorption of osteoclasts, reduce the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines, inhibit osteoclast differentiation, and alleviate LPS induced osteolysis. The specific mechanism may be that sesamin inhibits osteoclast differentiation and specific gene expression by suppressing the ERK and NF - κ B signaling pathways. Therefore, sesamin may be a potential drug for treating inflammatory bone resorption.
3. Protecting the liver
The metabolism of sesamin is mainly carried out in the liver. Sesamin can regulate the activity of enzymes involved in alcohol and fat metabolism, promote ethanol metabolism, and enhance the β-oxidation of fatty acids, thereby reducing the damage of ethanol to the liver and the accumulation of fat in the liver.
4. Reducing cholesterol
In clinical trials of sesame extract applied to individuals with hypercholesterolemia, it was found that the group taking sesame extract had an average decrease of 8.5% in total serum cholesterol, an average decrease of 14% in low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) content, and an average increase of 4% in high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C). The effect was similar to that of anti lipid-lowering drugs and was safe with no side effects.
FAQ:
1: How can I get a sample?
We can offer 20-200g free sample for your testing based on different products.
2: MOQ(Minimum Order Quantity)
Above 1kg.
3: How do you control like pesticides residue, heavy metal, microbio, physical index or other Hazardous substances for each product?
We control them from raw material, will ask raw material supplier to test. After all items are qualified, materials are accepted by us. For heavy metal, microbio and physical index like assay finished products, we test in factory lab, for pesticides residue and other index we test it in third lab such as SGS and Eurofins or based on customer’s request.
